Fengxian County is under the jurisdiction of Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province. Located in the northwest of Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, it is connected with Tongshan District and Peixian County in the east, Jinxiang County and Yutai County in the north, Dangshan County and Xiaoxian County in the south, and Shan County in the west. It is located in the center of the Huaihai Economic Zone and the southeast edge of the North China Plain. Xuji Expressway crosses the whole territory, connecting Beijing-Fuzhou Railway, Beijing-Shanghai Railway and Lianhuo Railway. Fuxin River in the territory leads to Weishan Lake and connects with the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal. The area is 1450.2 square kilometers. Fengxian County was known as Fengyi, Qintai and Fengcheng in ancient times. It is said that in ancient times, there was a phoenix that fell here and got its name. Fengxian has a long history. There is a saying that "Xuzhou comes first and then Xuanxuan, and only Fengxian doesn't remember the year".
