Funing County is under the jurisdiction of Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China. Funing County was set up in the Republic of China, which was named after the establishment of Anning Prefecture in the Yuan Dynasty and the later incorporation of Anning Prefecture into Fuzhou. Funing County is located in the southeast of Yunnan Province, bordered by Vietnam's Hejiang Province in the south, bordered by five counties (districts) of Baise Youjiang, Xilin, Tianlin, Napo and Jingxi in the east and north, respectively, and connected to Guangnan and Malipo counties of Wenshan Prefecture in the west.
