Geji County, under the jurisdiction of Nali Region of the Tibet Autonomous Region, is located in the west of the Tibet Autonomous Region, at the source of Shiquan River, covering an area of 45,710,000 square kilometers. Geji County is a sub-cold and arid plateau climate zone. As of October 2021, Geji County has jurisdiction over one town and four townships. County people's government in Ge Ji town. In the spring of 1962, the county was officially located in Napo. Geji County road construction began in the 1960s, in 1990 the county a total of 495 kilometers of road, about 560 kilometers of roads opened to traffic.
