Haifeng County, a county under the jurisdiction of Shanwei City, Guangdong Province, is located in the southeast of Guangdong Province. Haifeng is named after "Nanhai Wufeng". The county covers a total area of 1750 square kilometers, governs 16 towns, and has a permanent resident population of 742500 in 2021. It is a famous historical and cultural city of Guangdong, a pilot financial reform of the county directly under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province, 13 red bases in China, and one of the old revolutionary bases of Hailufeng.

The county was established in the sixth year of Xianhe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (331). In the ninth year of Yongzheng's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1731), Shifan, Fangkuo and Jikang were set up in Lufeng County. Shanwei City was established in March 1988, and Haifeng divided 7 towns along the coast as the urban area. Haifeng is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese, with 470000 overseas Chinese and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

In 2021, Haifeng County will achieve a gross domestic product of 40.61 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.5%, and an average increase of 9.2%. Among them, the added value of the primary industry is 4.27 billion yuan, an increase of 11.4%, the added value of the secondary industry is 18.7 billion yuan, an increase of 16.3%, and the added value of the tertiary industry is 17.64 billion yuan, an increase of 11.2%.
