Hangjin Banner

Hangjin Banner, formerly known as Ordos Right Rear banner. It is located in the northwest of Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, facing Bayannur City across the Yellow River in the west and north, adjacent to Otok Banner and Ushen Banner in the south, and bordering Dongsheng District, Dalat Banner and Ejin Horo Banner in the east. It spans the Ordos Plateau and Hetao plain, and the Yellow River flows 242 kilometers from west to east through Quanqi. Kubuqi Desert runs from east to west, and Quanqi is naturally divided into the northern river area and the southern Liangwai area. The whole Banner has jurisdiction over 7 Sumu towns, with a total area of 18,900 square kilometers. It is an ethnic minority area with the Mongolian as the main body and the Han as the majority. As of 0:00 on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Quanqi was 110,824 (7th census).

On July 27, 2018, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region people's Government approved the withdrawal of the poverty flag. On July 29, 2020, it was selected into the national Health township (county) naming list for the 2017-2019 cycle. In November 2020, it was selected as the sixth National Civilized City. In 2020, the GDP of the whole Banner will reach 12.883 billion yuan. In August 2021, it was designated as the key rural revitalization Banner county of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In 2021, Hangjin Banner's GDP reached 14.63 billion yuan.
