Huating City, a county-level city administered by Pingliang City, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Gansu Province, at the intersection of Shaanxi, Gansu and Ningxia provinces (regions). The Ankou Kiln in Ankou Town in the Ming Dynasty was listed as a famous kiln in China under the name of "Longshang Kiln". In September 2017, Huating was awarded the National Advanced Collective of Mass Sports.
In 2021, Huating City will achieve a GDP of 7.9 billion yuan. On January 25, 2019, Huating was selected as the national "safe agricultural machinery" demonstration county in 2018.
