Jiangue County, affiliated to Guangyuan City of Sichuan Province, is located in the northern edge of Sichuan Basin, the junction of Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu provinces, located in the north of Sichuan Province, southwest of Guangyuan City, Shou Jianmen heaven risk, "the Jiange towering and Cui Wei, a man's pass, ten thousand Fu Mo open", "northern Sichuan Golden Triangle", "Shu Pearl" and other reputation. It covers an area of 3202.95 square kilometers and has jurisdiction over 27 towns and 2 townships. At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Dangde County was set up within the territory, and in the Liu Song period of the Southern and Northern Dynasties, Nan 'an County was set up from today's Puan Town. After many changes, Jianzhou was changed into Jiange County in the second year of the Republic of China (1913). In September 2003, the county seat was moved to Xiasi Town.
