Jilong County is located in the southwest of Tibet Autonomous Region and the southwest of Xigaze City. Its geographical coordinates are between 84°35 'and 86°20' east longitude and 28°3 'and 29°3' north latitude. It borders the Kingdom of Nepal in the south and southwest, with a border length of 162 kilometers. It borders Saga County on the north along the Yarlung Zangbo River and Nyalam County on the east.
