Jinggu Dai and Yi Autonomous County (Jinggu County) is subordinate to Pu'er City, Yunnan Province. It is located in the southwest of Yunnan Province, in the west of the central part of Pu'er City, bordering on Ninger Hani and Yi Autonomous County in the east, bordering on Simao District and Ninger Hani and Yi Autonomous County in the south by the Weiyuan River and Xiaohei River, and facing Lancang Lahu Autonomous County and Linxiang District of Lincang City and Shuangjiang Lahu Wa Bulang Dai Autonomous County across the river, It is adjacent to Zhenyuan Yi, Hani and Lahu Autonomous County in the north, and the county people's government is located in Weiyuan Town, 130 kilometers away from Pu'er City and 466 kilometers away from Kunming City. The county covers an area of 7777 square kilometers, and governs 152 village (residential) committees and 2237 village (residential) groups in 6 towns and 4 townships. According to the data of the seventh population census, as of 0:00 on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Jinggu Dai and Yi Autonomous County was 277417.

Jinggu Dai and Yi Autonomous County is an important forest pulp, forest board and forest chemical base in Yunnan Province, listed as the first batch of plateau characteristic agricultural demonstration counties in Yunnan Province, and one of the origin and main production areas of Pu'er tea. On September 25, 2018, it was awarded the honorary title of "2018 Comprehensive Demonstration County of E-commerce in Rural Areas" by the Ministry of Commerce. On April 30, 2019, the People's Government of Yunnan Province decided to withdraw Jinggu Dai and Yi Autonomous County from the poverty line.

In 2020, the total output value of Jinggu Dai and Yi Autonomous County reached 12.186 billion yuan, up 0.1% year on year. Fixed asset investment (excluding farmers) was 3.308 billion yuan, up 30.9% year on year. The added value of industries above designated size decreased by 8.5% year-on-year.
