Jingxian County, subordinate to Hengshui City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Hebei Province, in the east of Hengshui City, close to Dezhou City, Shandong Province, on the west bank of the Grand Canal, and in the economic development area around Beijing Tianjin and Bohai Sea, as well as the economic center of the triangle of Beijing Tianjin, Shijiazhuang and Jinan. With a total area of 1188 square kilometers and a cultivated land of 1.25 million mu, Jingxian County is the "southern chamber" economic area of Hebei Province that implements the "one line, two chambers" strategy in the "Eleventh Five Year Plan". According to the data of the seventh population census, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Jingxian County is 293877.

Since 2007, Jingxian County has been named "China Rubber and Plastic Pipe Industry Base", "China Tower Manufacturing Base" and "China Fork Truck and Fork Manufacturing Base" by relevant national industry associations.

In 2020, the general public budget revenue of Jingxian County will exceed 1 billion yuan, an increase of 8.3%. The county's GDP increased by 4.6%; Fixed asset investment increased by 6.5%; Industrial added value above designated size increased by 6.4%; Per capita disposable income of urban and rural residents increased by 5.8% and 8.5% respectively.

In 2013, there were 3 existing national key cultural relics protection units in Jingxian County (Jingzhou Relic Tower, Fengshi Tombs, Gaoshi Tombs), and 1 provincial key cultural relics protection unit (Zhou Yafu Tomb). In June 2020, it was selected into the demonstration list of new urbanization construction in the county seat.
