Junxian County, under the jurisdiction of Hebi City, Henan Province, is located in the north of Henan Province. The Weihe River winds through the whole territory. As early as more than 6000 years ago, ancestors have multiplied here. During the Yin and Shang Dynasties, Junxian County was called Li, which was called the hinterland of the city. Liyang County was set up in the reign of Emperor Gaozu of the Western Han Dynasty, belonging to Wei County of Jizhou. This is the beginning of Junxian County, which is located in the northeast of Dapi Mountain. In Wang Mang's time, it was renamed Lizhi, and the name of Liyang County was restored in the Eastern Han Dynasty. In May of the 38th year of the Republic of China (1949), the whole territory of Junxian County was liberated. In October 1949, the People's Republic of China was founded, and the CPC Junxian Democratic Government was changed to the Junxian People's Government, which belongs to Anyang Special District of Pingyuan Province. In 1970, Anyang District was changed into Anyang District. In October 1983, the Anyang region was abolished and two cities, Anyang and Puyang, were established. Jun County belongs to Anyang City. On January 18, 1986, the State Council approved that Junxian County should be included in Hebi City.
