Le County, known as Zhaozhou in ancient times, belongs to Guilin City of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is located in the northeast of Guangxi and the southeast of Guilin. It is adjacent to Zhongshan County in the east, Zhaoping in the south, Yangshuo in the northwest, Gongcheng in the north and Lipu in the west, with a total area of 1919.34 square kilometers. According to the seventh census, the permanent population of Pingle County was 340,921 as of midnight on November 1, 2020.
