Lingtai County, under the jurisdiction of Pingliang City, Gansu Province, is located at the southeast edge of Pingliang City, belonging to the gully region of the Loess Plateau, between the Jinghe River and the Weihe River, with high terrain in the northwest and low terrain in the southeast. It is adjacent to Chang'an in the east, Qianlong in the south, Guanshan in the west and Jingshui in the north. It is known as "Longdong Dry Wharf" and "Gansudong Gate".
