Linquan County, affiliated to Fuyang City of Anhui Province, is the northwest gateway of Anhui Province, located in the southwest end of the Huang-Huai plain, the northwest of Anhui Province. It is located between 114°50 '~ 115°31' east longitude and 32°35 '~ 33°09' north latitude. It borders nine counties and urban areas in Anhui and Henan provinces, with the widest width of 62 kilometers from east to west and the longest width of 68 kilometers from north to south, with a total area of 1839 square kilometers. Linquan, known as Shen Di in ancient times. In 1042 BC, the 10th son of King Wen of Zhou, Dan Jizai, was sealed here and founded the State of Shen (Zi).
