Lixin County, subordinate to Bozhou City, Anhui Province, is located in the south of Bozhou City, near Guoyang County in the north, Mengcheng County in the east, Fengtai County of Huainan City, Yingshang County of Fuyang City in the south, Yingdong District of Fuyang City and Taihe County in the west. The total area is 2005 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 20 towns and 3 townships.

Lixin has a long history. It was an important place for Wu and Chu to contend for power during the Spring and Autumn Period. There are Wushe Tomb, Chanyang Temple, Yin-yang City, Jijia Pagoda, Jiexiao Fang and other ancient sites in Lixin. Qingyin Opera, Pull-soul Opera, Huaibei Dagu and Zhangou Jiuqu Yellow River Lantern Array are listed as Anhui Province's intangible cultural heritage. Lishin is rich in resources, rich in food, oil, medicinal materials, vegetables, pigs, goats, cattle and other agricultural and sidelining products, West Feihe crucian carp, crab, Fanzi, Lishin Xiangzi and other specialty.

By the end of 2021, the resident population of Lixin County was 1.186 million. In 2021, Lixin County achieved a gross regional product of 36.68 billion yuan, of which the added value of the primary industry was 5.68 billion yuan, the secondary industry was 11.07 billion yuan, and the tertiary industry was 19.93 billion yuan. The proportion of the tertiary industry was 15.5:30.2: 54.3, per capita GDP 30,927 yuan (based on the permanent resident population of 1.186 million in 2021).
