Longshan is the core area of Qin Jane culture, the birthplace of Tujia culture and the rich area of red culture. Longshan County coal, zisha pottery, quartz sand, marble, shale gas and other mineral reserves are huge; With a forest coverage rate of 71.2%, it is the first pilot county of forestry carbon sequestration project in Hunan Province. In 2020, the GDP of Longshan County reached 9.886 billion yuan, an increase of 3.1% over the previous year.
