Lujiang County, under the jurisdiction of Hefei City, Anhui Province, is located in the central part of Anhui Province, south of Hefei City, east of Chaohu City, Wuwei City bordering on the south, Zhongyang County, Tongcheng City as neighbors, west of Shucheng County, north of Feixi County. Adjacent waters include Chaohu Lake and the Yangtze River. Between latitude 30°57 '-- 31°33' north, longitude 117°01 '-- 117°34' east, the total area of 2343.7 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 3 subdistricts and 17 towns.

In Lujiang, there is a Tangchi hot spring, which enjoys the title of "the first spring in East China". After Wang Anshi came to take a bath here in Song Dynasty, he left a famous poem, "The poem of cold spring sings, only this boiling is like steaming". The Yefu Mountain, known as the "Little Jiuhua in the north of the river", is a national forest park because it is said that Ouyezi, the father of sword crafting in the Spring and Autumn Period, made swords here.
