Lushan County, subordinate to Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, is located in the central and western part of Henan Province, at the eastern foot of Funiu Mountain. The county covers an area of 2432.32 square kilometers, governs 4 streets, 7 towns and 13 townships. Lushan was called Luyang in ancient times.
