Majiang County is affiliated to Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province. Located in the center of Guizhou Province and upstream of Qingshui River, it is the west gate of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture. It borders Kaili City in the northeast, Danzhai County in the southeast, Duyun City in the south, Guiding County in the west and Fuquan City in the north. Between east longitude 107°18 '-- 107°54', north latitude 26°17 '-- 26°37', the total area of 960 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 2 streets, 4 towns and 1 township.
Majiang County is rich in tourism resources, including Qingshui River landscape charm, Xianrenqiao provincial forest Park; Cultural attractions include the residence of Xia Tong, the emperor of the late Qing Dynasty who has been protected by provincial cultural relics, and the Majjiang section of the Qiangui ancient Post Road of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Miao nationality style song and dance performance, dragon boat, bullfighting, cockfighting, bird fighting, dog fighting and other folk sports competitions; Xingshan Liupu, Xuanwei Wuyangma, Ka Wu, Jidong, Longshan River Dam, Fuxing and other places have unique and strong ethnic characteristics and customs.
