Manzhouli, administered by Hulunbuir City of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is a planned independent city of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is China's largest land transportation port city and a national key development and opening pilot zone and border tourism pilot zone determined by The State Council. The Manzhouli Port is the largest land port in China. According to the seventh census, as of midnight on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Manzhouli was 150,508.

Manzhouli west Mongolia, north Russia, is the country's largest land port city. In 2020, the gross regional product (GDP) of Manzhouli reached 14.15 billion yuan, down by 6.6% at comparable prices, and the per capita GDP of Manzhouli was 82,048 yuan.

Manzhouli has won the title of "National Civilized Port" for three consecutive times and the title of "National Model City of Double Support" for six times. It is a National civilized City, China Excellent Tourism City, national science Popularization Demonstration City, national Ecological Demonstration Area and CCTV Top Ten Charming City.
