Mengcun Hui Autonomous County is subordinate to Cangzhou City, Hebei Province and located in the southeast of Hebei Province. It is one of the six minority autonomous counties in Hebei Province. It covers a total area of 386.73 square kilometers, has a permanent population of 203507 (2020), and has jurisdiction over 4 towns and 2 townships. The county people's government is located in Mengcun Town.

Mengcun County is located in the east of North China Plain, with low and flat terrain and many saline alkali lands. Xuanhui River and Dalangdian Drainage Canal flow through the county. The grain mainly produces wheat, corn, millet, etc., and the animal husbandry is dominated by broiler breeding. The industry is dominated by pipeline equipment manufacturing and construction fasteners. In 2020, Mengcun Hui Autonomous County will achieve a GDP of 9 billion yuan and a general public budget revenue of 450 million yuan.

Mengcun County is the birthplace of the Eight Pole Boxing, known as the "hometown of martial arts". Mengcun is an old revolutionary base area. Historic sites include Raoan City Site of the Tang Dynasty, the tomb of Cheng's father and son, Wang Ao's tomb, etc.
