Mian County, under the Hanzhong City of Shanxi Province, is located in the west of Hanzhong City, east Hantai District, south of Nanzheng County, west of Ningqiang County, Yongyang County, north of Liuba County, Gansu Province Liangtang County bordering, an area of 2406 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Mian County has jurisdiction over 1 subdistrict and 17 towns. In 2021, the total population of Mian County was 408,940.
Mian County, known as the "northwest Jiangnan" "the hometown of fish and rice" reputation. In the Warring States period, the land was first known as the White Horse, which belongs to Shu.
