Nanzhao County, a county under the jurisdiction of Nanyang City, Henan Province, is located in the southwest of Henan Province, at the southern foot of Funiu Mountain, at the northern edge of Nanyang Basin, adjacent to Fangcheng in the east, Wolong District, Nanyang City in the south, Neixiang in the west, Lushan and Songxian County in the north. It is known as "the place where Ruluo is controlled in the north and Jingxiang is controlled in the south", and it is the place where all generations of military strategists must contend. With a total area of 2946 square kilometers, the county has jurisdiction over 16 townships (including Huangludian Town, which is now managed by Yahe Industrial Zone) and 340 administrative villages. In the 12th year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty, it was set as Nanzhao County. It is one of the important birthplaces of early human beings in China. Nanzhao County has convenient transportation and rich tourism resources. Jiaozuo Liuzhou Railway runs through the north and south, Erguang Expressway and National Highway 207 run through the north and south, and it is 60 kilometers away from Nanyang Airport in the south, forming a highway transportation network of expressway, national highway central line and four provincial highways. In March 2020, it won the title of National Advanced County for Village Clean Action, and was praised by the Central Agriculture Office and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
