In the fifth year of the Reign of Emperor You of the Song Dynasty (1053), it was built and called Zhen 'an Dong (governing the northern side of today's Chengxiang Town Feeling Tuo Rock), which belonged to Yongzhou. In 1971, Napo County changed to Baise area. On June 2, 2002, the Baise district and the county-level Baise City were abolished and the prefecture-level Baise City was established.
