Nayong County is located in the northwest of Guizhou Province, south of Bijie City, across the river from Dafang County. Its geographical coordinates are 104°55 '40 "-105°38' 04" east longitude and 26°30 '16 "-27°05' 54" north latitude. The total area is 2,452.32 square kilometers. Because the south of the county has a Nayong River, namely to Nayong for the county name (also take the meaning of Nanmin Yongxi). Industrial projects include 2.4 million KW power plant located in Nawongyangchang Town and Bijie coal-to-oil Phase II project, 30 kilometers from Zhongshan District, Liupanshui.
