Ningguo City, known as Ningyang in ancient times, is a county-level city in Anhui Province under the administration of Xuancheng City, located in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta, southeast of Anhui Province, south of Xuancheng City, east of Hangzhou, west of Huangshan and Jiuhua Mountain, is the source of Shuiyang River, Qingyi River, Fuchun River, Xijin, Dongjin, Zhongjin three rivers through the city.
