Pengshan County (Pengshan County) generally refers to Pengshan District
Pengshan District, under the Sichuan Meishan City, known as Wuyang in ancient times. Pengshan covers an area of 465 square kilometers and has jurisdiction over 5 subdistricts and 3 towns (among which, Meishan District of Tianfu New District is entrusted to administer 1 subdistrict and 1 town). According to the seventh census data, the permanent population of Pengshan District was 328,236 as of midnight on November 1, 2020.

Pengshan is the hometown of longevity in China, the production base of commodity grains and lean pigs in China, and the national ecological demonstration zone. Pengshan District is adjacent to Renshou County in the east, Dongpo District in the south, Pujiang County and Qionglai City in the west, and Xinjin District and Tianfu New District of Chengdu in the north. It belongs to Chengdu Economic Zone. Pengshan is the main habitat of Pengzu, the first ancestor of the Chinese longevity star, and is known as the "hometown of longevity".
In 2020, the GDP of Pengshan District reached 18.339 billion yuan, an increase of 4.5 percent.
