Pucheng County, subordinate to Weinan City of Shanxi Province, is located in the northeast of Guanzhong Plain of Shanxi Province, with Dali County and Chengcheng County in the east. Fuping County in the west; North according to Baishui County, Tongchuan city; South by Linwei District. Between east longitude 109°20 '17 "-- 109°54' 48", north latitude 33°44 '50 "-- 35°10' 30", the total area of 1583.58 square kilometers, Weinan area is the second largest county. It has jurisdiction over 2 subdistricts and 15 towns.

Known as "Chongquan" and "Nanbaishui" in ancient times, Pucheng is a historical and cultural city in Shanxi Province, the birthplace of Beijing time, the largest grain producing county in Shanxi Province, known as the hometown of pear and fireworks, with Tang Bridge Mausoleum, Tang Tai Mausoleum and other imperial tombs of the Tang Dynasty around it. Pucheng is also the hometown of National Revolutionary Army general Yang Hucheng and the Qing Dynasty's famous minister Wang Ding who "remongedwith corpse blood" Emperor Daoguang, so it has the reputation of "minister's hometown".
