Qi County (qi xian), belongs to Jinzhong City of Shanxi Province, is located in the central part of Shanxi Province. In 2021, Qi County has jurisdiction over 6 towns and 1 township: Zhaoyu Town, Dongguan Town, Guxian Town, Jialing Town, Chengzhao Town, Laiyuan Town and Yukou Town. There are 117 administrative villages and 16 communities. The total area is 854 square kilometers. According to the seventh census, as of midnight on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Qi County was 254,535.

Qixian County, known as "Zhaoyu" in ancient times, got its name from "Zhaoyu Qizewu". It is the capital of glassware in China, the hometown of Jin merchants, the birthplace of Jin merchant culture and the thousand-mile tea Ceremony. Qi County Qitai Yangko and Dai's fist are listed as national intangible cultural heritage. On July 10, 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially issued the approval document, agreed to set up "One Belt and One Road" small and medium-sized enterprises characteristic industrial cooperation zone in Qi County.

In 2020, the gross domestic product of Qi County was 888,586 million yuan, among which, the added value of the primary industry was 191,356 million yuan, the secondary industry was 1989.12 million yuan and the tertiary industry was 498,318 million yuan.
