Quzhou County is subordinate to Handan City, Hebei Province. It is located in the Heilonggang basin of the Haihe Plain at the eastern foot of the Taihang Mountains in the south of Hebei Province and the northeast of Handan City. It is adjacent to Qiu County in the east, Guangping and Feixiang in the south, Yongnian and Jize in the west, and Pingxiang in Xingtai City in the north.
