Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province directly under the jurisdiction of Ganzhou city, county level city, located in the south of Jiangxi Province, the west foot of the southern section of Wuyi Mountains, the east source of Ganjiang River, upstream of Gongshui. It borders Changting County of Fujian Province in the east, Huichang County in the south, Yudu County in the west and Ningdu and Shicheng County in the north. Ruijin covers an area of 2441.40 square kilometers, including 29.3 square kilometers of built-up area, 28,600 hectares of cultivated land and 187,100 hectares of forested land, with a forest coverage rate of 75.6%. Ruijin has a long history, is the main settlement of Hakka people and one of the important birthplace of Hakka culture. At the same time, it was the old Red capital, the cultural center of the Central Soviet Area. Ruijin is the cradle of the Republic, the headquarters of the Central Communist Party of China during the period of the Central Soviet Zone, the birthplace of the provisional central government of the Chinese Soviet Republic, the departure of the Central Red Army's 25 thousand li Long March, is the national patriotism and revolutionary tradition education base; It is a red tourist city in China. In July 2015, with the official approval of the National Tourism Administration, Ruijin Cradle of the Republic Scenic Spot became the seventh and first 5A tourist spot in Jiangxi and Ganzhou. In August 2015, The State Council agreed to list Ruijin as a national historical and cultural city. In December 2018, Ruijin was awarded "China's Top 10 Poverty Alleviation and Targeted Poverty Alleviation Demonstration Counties and Cities in 2018". Ruijin City is a special case of "no waste city" construction.
In 2019, Ruijin achieved a gross regional product (GDP) of 16.592 billion yuan, an increase of 8.5% over the previous year.
