Sheqi County, subordinate to Nanyang City, Henan Province, is located in the southwest of Henan Province, at the northeast edge of Nanyang Basin. It is located between 112 ° 46 °~113 ° 11 ° E and 32 ° 47 °~33 ° 19 ° N. It borders Biyang County in the east, Wancheng District in the west, Fangcheng County in the north and Tanghe County in the south. Sheqi has a brilliant history and culture. The ancient town of Qidian, where the county seat is located, was called "Qidian" in ancient times. It got its name because Liu Xiu, Emperor Guangwu of the Eastern Han Dynasty, "paid a visit to generals on the Qidian flag and fought against recklessness" here. It is an important transit station for the "Wanli Tea Ceremony" and is known as "the first ancient town in the Central Plains". Seventy two ancient streets in the county seat are well preserved, constituting the largest architectural complex of the Qing Dynasty in the Central Plains.
