Suibin County, subordinate to Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province, is located on the border and near the Songhua River, meaning "appeasing" (pacifying) and "riverside". Suibin County faces Russia across the Heilongjiang River in the north, connects Tongjiang City and Fujin City along the Songhua River in the east and south, and borders Luobei County in the west.
