Taihe County, located in Fuyang City of Anhui Province, was named Lushang, Xingqiu and Linqiu in ancient times. It is located in the north of Fuyang City, at the south end of Huanghuai Plain, between Fuyang City and Bozhou City, with a total area of 1867 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 30 towns and 1 township.

Taihe County since the Qin Dynasty, has more than 2,000 years of history, Yuan Dade eight years (1304) to change Taihe County, meaning peace and harmony. It boasts seven ancient city sites, ancient Juyang, the capital of Chu, five ancient cultural sites, and ancient buildings such as Yuan Dynasty Confucian Temple complex. Historical figures include Zhang K K (pu), Emperor Zhang of Han Dynasty, Fan Pang (P-Pang) of Eastern Han Dynasty, and Xu Guangjin, the governor of Guangxi and Guangxi of Qing Dynasty [1]. Taihe County is the hometown of Chinese painting and calligraphy art, the hometown of Chinese folk culture and art, China's food production advanced county, China green model county, China medicine distribution center, China's largest hair products raw materials, platycodon production and processing base.

By the end of 2021, the permanent population of Taihe County was 1.372 million. In 2021, the gross regional product of Taihe County reached 50.87 billion yuan, of which the added value of the primary industry was 6.34 billion yuan, the secondary industry 21.13 billion yuan and the tertiary industry 23.39 billion yuan.
