Taihe County, which belongs to Ji 'an City of Jiangxi Province, is located in the south-central part of Jiangxi Province and the southwest part of Ji 'an City. It is adjacent to Qingyuan District and Yongfeng County in the east, Wan 'an County and Xingguo County in the south, Jinggangshan City, Yongxin County and Suichuan County in the west, and Ji 'an County and Qingyuan District in the north. The county covers an area of 2495 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over 23 townships, 279 administrative villages and 30 communities. By the end of 2021, Taihe County has a total population of 578,600, including 215,000 urban residents and 363,600 rural residents.

Taihe County, known as Xichang in ancient times, was founded in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. It got its name because of the "real estate Jiahe, born of harmony", and has the honor of "famous cultural relics State". Taihe culture is an important part of Luling culture. In 2021, the GDP of Taihe County reached 23.528 billion yuan, an increase of 9.2%; Total revenue was 2.838 billion yuan, up 13.4%, and revenue in the general public budget was 1.575 billion yuan.
