Tumen City, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture of Jilin Province, Tumen City is located in the east of Jilin Province, the lower reaches of Tumen River, between 42°47 '~ 43°13' north latitude and 129°37 '~ 129°55' east longitude. The total area is 1142.65 square kilometers. Tumen City belongs to the middle temperate continental monsoon climate zone. By the end of 2021, Tumen has a registered population of 101,982.
