Wafangdian City is located in the middle west of Liaodong Peninsula, 39 ° 20 ′~40 ° 07 ′ N, 121 ° 13 ′~122 ° 16 ′ E; It borders Pulandian District in the east, Bohai Sea in the west, Jinzhou District in the south, and Yingkou Gaizhou City in the north. It is 292 kilometers away from Shenyang in the north and 104 kilometers away from Dalian in the south. It is an important economic zone connecting Shenyang and Dalian. With a total area of 3794 square kilometers, Wafangdian has famous scenic spots such as Fuzhou Ancient City, Xianyuwan, Yongquan Temple, Longtan Taoist Temple, Xiangzhou Garden City, and Jiangjun Stone. At the beginning of 2011, a large diamond mine was found in Wafangdian area, Liaoning Province.
