Wuyi County belongs to Jinhua City of Zhejiang Province. It is located in the middle of Zhejiang Province, between latitude 28°31' ~ 29°03' north and longitude 119°27' ~ 119°58' east. Wuyi is the hometown of Pan Mohua, a pioneer of the New Culture movement and a lakeside poet, Qianjiaju, a famous economist, and Pan Jizi, a famous master of fine brushwork.
By 2013, Wuyi County has jurisdiction over 3 subdistricts, 15 towns, 15 community residents' committees and 546 villagers' committees. The venue of 2013 "Sanmei" Cup China Rally Championship.
