Xiang 'an District, under the jurisdiction of Xiamen City, Fujian Province, is located in the northeast of Xiamen City, the middle of the west bank of the Taiwan Strait, the northeast and Quanzhou border, the west and Tong 'an District border, the south and Xiamen Island, Kinmen Island across the sea. The total land area of the region is 411.5 square kilometers and the total sea area is 133.84 square kilometers. According to the seventh census, as of midnight on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Xiang 'an District was 578,255.
