Xiangfen County, subordinate to Linfen City, Shanxi Province, is located in the southern part of Linfen City, the middle and lower reaches of the Fenhe River, with a total area of 1034 square kilometers. According to the seventh census, the permanent population of Xiangfen County was 425,553 as of midnight on November 1, 2020.

Xiangfen county was founded in the Qin Dynasty, has a history of more than two thousand years. It is the largest Rehmannia medicine marketing base in China and the largest three cherry pepper planting base in North China. It has formed a large number of provincial and national agricultural brands such as Yaojing Grape and Guantan red date. There are Yancun Lotus hot spring scenic spot, Longshuyu tourist spot, Dongling ski resort, Shuanglonghu National Wetland Park and other scenic spots.

In 2019, Xiangfen County has jurisdiction over seven towns and six townships. In 2018, the GDP reached 13.221.4 billion yuan, of which the added value of the primary industry was 1.36153 billion yuan, that of the secondary industry was 6.03987 billion yuan and that of the tertiary industry was 5.82 billion yuan. In 2020, the GDP of Xiangfen County reached 13.05 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 4.1%.
