Xingzi County (Xingzi County) generally refers to Lushan (a county-level city administered by Jiujiang City of Jiangxi Province).
It is between 115°48 '-- 116°10' east longitude and 29°8 '-- 29°36' north latitude. It is 35 kilometers wide from east to west and 52 kilometers long from north to south, with a total area of 913 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 9 towns and 1 township. According to the seventh census, as of midnight on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Lushan was 231,525.
Lushan is the second county-level city in Jiangxi Province named after the scenic spot. Formerly known as Xingzi County, Lushan derives its name from Xingzi Town set up during the Dahe period of Yangwu and Ten Kingdoms in the Five Dynasties and got its name from the "falling star stone" in the south lake of the town. Lushan City has a long history, the city of Nankang Town for the former Nankang army, road, government.
