Yongfeng County, subordinate to Ji 'an City of Jiangxi Province, is located in the central part of Jiangxi Province, along the east edge of Jitai Basin, adjacent to Le 'an County and Ningdu County in the east, Xingguo County in the south, Jishui County and Qingyuan District in the west, and Xiajiang County and Xingan County in the north. The county covers an area of 2710 square kilometers, under the jurisdiction of 8 towns, 13 townships (including 1 nationality township), 3 state-owned fields. By the end of 2021, Yongfeng County has a registered population of 495,700.

Yongfeng County is one of the birthplaces of Luling culture. It was established in the first year of the Northern Song Dynasty (1054). There are 58 scenic spots (spots) with high tourism grade and development value within the county. Fuji-ji Expressway transit, 59 km long, two-way 4 lanes, leading to Ji 'an, Fuzhou and Nanchang. Yongfeng County is the national green food (vegetable) standardized production base county, the national first "pollution-free vegetable production demonstration base county", the total area of commodity vegetables in the county reaches 230,000 mu, by the Ministry of Agriculture named "China pepper Township", "China fresh agricultural products wholesale market" and "China Vegetable basket project information collection point".

In 2021, the GDP of Yongfeng County was 21.128 billion yuan, an increase of 4.0 percent over 2020 based on comparable prices.
