Yonghe County, subordinate to Linfen City, Shanxi Province, is located at the south end of the Luliang Mountains, the east bank of the Shanxi Shaanxi Grand Canyon in the middle reaches of the Yellow River, and the northwest edge of Linfen City. It is adjacent to Xi County in the east, Daning County in the south, Shilou County in the north, and Yanchuan County in Shaanxi Province in the west.
