Zhen 'an County, subordinate to Shangluo City of Shanxi Province, is located in the southwest of Shangluo City, east of Shanyang County and Yunxi County of Hubei Province, west of Ningshan County, south of Xunyang City, north of Zhashui County, an area of 3487 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Zhen 'an County has jurisdiction over 1 subdistrict, 14 towns, 2 forest plants and 1 plant nursery. By the end of 2021, Zhen 'an County has a permanent population of 252,000.
