Zhucheng, a county - level city in Shandong Province, is administered by Weifang City. According to the legend, Emperor Shun was born in Zhofeng Village in the north of the city and got his name, also known as Longcheng. It is located in the southeast of Shandong Peninsula, at the junction of Taiyi Mountains and Jiao-wei Plain, between 35°42 '23 "to 36°21' 05" north latitude, 119°0 '19 "to 119°43' 56" east longitude, adjacent to Jiaozhou and Huangdao in the east, and bordering Wulian in the south. Zhucheng, known as the "capital of Shun", was the birthplace of Shun culture.
