Zunyi County (place name) generally refers to Bozhou District

Between 106°17 '22 "-- 107°26' 25" east longitude, 27°13 '15 "-- 28°04' 09" north latitude, Meitan County, Weng 'an County in the east, Xifeng County, Kaiyang County in the south, Renhuai City, Jinsha County in the west, Honghua Gang District, Huichuan District in the north. By the end of 2021, it covers an area of 2,490.94 square kilometers and has jurisdiction over 5 subdistricts, 17 towns and 2 ethnic townships. In 2021, the registered population of Bozhou District was 897,820.

Bozhou district has a long history, the Tang Zhenguan 13 years (AD 639), the beginning of the Bozhou mansion. Bozhou existed until the Ming Wanli twenty-eight years (1600), lasting 961 years. In 1935, the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army marched into and out of China three times on the Long March and held the famous Goba Conference. It is a subtropical monsoon humid climate zone, between 850 and 1100 meters above sea level, with an average annual temperature of 15.3℃. It has been named "the Hometown of China Eucommia" and the capital of Pepper in China. It is an important base of Southwest energy and Guizhou "west-east power transmission".

Bozhou District is the core area of the central Guizhou Economic Zone and the Northern Guizhou Economic Cooperation Zone, the strategic hinterland of the "Golden Triangle" in Guizhou, and an important node of the comprehensive development of the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River and the economic cooperation between Chongqing and Guizhou. It is located in the southwest sea channel, 260 kilometers to the north from Chongqing, 110 kilometers to the south from Guiyang, Lanhai Expressway, Zunchi Expressway, Hangrui Expressway, 210 national highway, 326 National highway, Sichuan-Guizhou railway and Chongqing-Guizhou Railway pass through, Wujiang waterway directly to the Yangtze River. In November 2018, it was selected into the primary list of the second batch of national demonstration cities and counties for ecological civilization construction.
