Zuogong County is a county under the jurisdiction of Qamdo City of Tibet Autonomous Region. It is located in the southeast of Tibet Autonomous Region and southeast of Qamdo City. It is located at 97°06 '-98°36' east longitude and 28°30 '-30°28' north latitude. It is bordered on the east by Mangkang County, on the south by Zayu County, Nyingchi City, on the west by Badu County, and on the north by Chaya County across the river. It is a semi-arid temperate climate in the southeastern Tibetan Plateau. The maximum distance between east and west of the county is 408 kilometers, and the maximum distance between north and south is 220 kilometers. With a total area of 11,707 square kilometers, it has jurisdiction over 3 towns, 7 townships, 127 administrative villages and 1 neighborhood committee.
