Jinhua, known as Wuzhou in ancient times, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Zhejiang Province. It is the central city of the Yangtze River Delta, the central city of G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, and Jinyi Metropolitan Area has been identified as the fourth metropolitan area of Zhejiang Province. Jinhua has jurisdiction over 2 districts, 3 counties and 4 county-level cities, with a total area of 10,942 square kilometers. By 2021, Jinhua has a permanent resident population of 7.12 million, with an urbanization rate of 68.7%.
