Laizbinh (Zhuang Wen: Laizbinh), a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located between 108°24 '-110°28' east longitude and 23°16 '-24°29' north latitude. Laizbinh is located in the central part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, so it is known as the "hinterland of Guangxi". It is adjacent to Wuzhou City in the east, Guigang City in the southeast and south, Nanning City in the southwest and west, Hechi City in the northwest, Liuzhou City in the north, and Guilin City in the northeast. The city covers an area of 13,411 square kilometers. It is an important node city in the Pearl River - Xijiang Economic Belt, a "4+2" city in the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and an important part of the great sea passage in Southwest China.
Laibin has jurisdiction over Xingbin District, Xiangzhou County, Wuxuan County, Xincheng County, Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County and Heshan City. By the end of 2021, Laibin has a permanent resident population of 2.0778 million.
