Ji 'an, known as Luling and Jizhou in ancient times, is a prefecture-level city in Jiangxi Province. At the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty, take "Jitai Min An" meaning renamed "Jian 'an". Ji 'an has jurisdiction over 2 districts, 1 city and 10 counties. The total area of the city is 25283 square kilometers. As of midnight on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Ji 'an was 4,469,176 (7th census). In 2021, the GDP of Ji 'an region was 252,565 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 9.0%.

There is a Buddhist holy land within the territory of Ji 'an - Qingyuan Mountain, produced the Zen Qingyuan school, Ji 'an is famous at home and abroad.
